Temple Sinai of North Dade and Sinai Learning Lab are thrilled to invite you to our first annual Curiosity Quest!

Curiosity Quest is an annual inter-school competition designed to celebrate one of the most essential skills in learning and in life: curiosity.

Curiosity Quest invites Jewish schools to send school-based teams to participate in a series of hands-on, collaborative challenges that reward questioning, creativity, flexibility, and teamwork. Unlike traditional competitions that emphasize speed or correct answers, Curiosity Quest prioritizes how children think, not just what they build.

The heart of the competition is inquiry, iteration, and reflection.

Our inaugural quest is on Sunday, April 26th from 9am-12pm on the beautiful campus of Temple Sinai of North Dade. This year's Quest is inspired by Israeli Innovation and will celebrate different Israeli innovation sectors—including Agriculture, Security, Biochem, Medical, Technology and more.

For the pilot year of Curiosity Quest, each school is invited to send one team of 6-8 kindergarten through second graders.

Teams will learn from representatives of the Israeli innovations we are celebrating and then move through a series of engaging challenges designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and collaboration. Rather than focusing on right answers or speed, the event emphasizes how students ask questions, test ideas, adapt to new information, and work together. Teams rotate through different challenges, reflect on their thinking, and share their learning along the way. The day culminates in a celebration of student thinking, teamwork, and innovation, highlighting the many ways curiosity can be expressed and rewarded.
